Thank a Teacher Appeal

Most of us can remember a teacher who made an impact. Someone who saw our potential, built our confidence or simply made school feel like somewhere we belonged.

This October, Warehouse Stationery and The Salvation Army are turning that gratitude into something bigger with the launch of the Thank a Teacher appeal.

With one in seven Kiwi children experiencing material hardship, not every child has the essentials they need to take part, feel included and thrive in the classroom. Kiwis can help by creating a free personalised card for a teacher who made a difference online at Warehouse Stationery, brightening their day while helping another child reach their potential. For every card created, Warehouse Stationery will donate $2 to The Salvation Army, up to $50,000, helping provide school essentials to children who might otherwise go without.
